About Bart Kempf

Bart Kempf is an Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., with a general environmental, litigation, and land use practice. Bart received his law degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was Executive Editor of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review.

During law school, Bart clerked with the U.S. Department of Justice in the Civil Division, Office of Consumer Litigation, and worked as a research assistant to Georgetown Professor Peter Byrne. Bart also interned for United States Senator Blanche Lincoln (AR), a member of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, focusing on climate change and alternative energy.

Bart received his M.Ed. in history and education from the University of Virginia and his B.A. in economics from the University of the South, Sewanee, where he was team captain and All-Conference in baseball. Prior to attending law school, Bart taught United States history and coached baseball and basketball at Woodberry Forest School in Orange, Virginia and Texas Military Institute in San Antonio, Texas.

Bart is a member of the Arkansas bar, practicing pursuant to D.C. App. Rule 49(c)(8), and is supervised by Principals of the Firm.
