USA Matrix Of Enacted Federal and State Restricted Substances Legislation

The matrix summarizing enacted legislation covering restricted substances such as brominated flame retardants and mercury has been updated.  In addition to providing a summary of the legislation in question, the matrix includes information regarding the legislation’s scope and effective date(s), as well as whether it contains RoHS-like provisions.

Since the last matrix update in January 2010, there is no newly enacted legislation.  However, there is significant pending legislation so far this year as detailed in EIATRACK’s restricted substances bills matrix and to the extent such bills pass, they will be included in future versions of this matrix.  Detailed analysis of future enacted laws will also be provided on EIATRACK under that state’s Restricted Substances page.
