This is an update to the April 25, 2005 EIATRACK Chart Summarizing and Updating Key Rule and Policymaking Initiatives Affecting EIA Members in China. In particular, this update focuses on the Management Regulations on the Recycling of Used Household Electronic Products and Electronic Products [家用电器和电子产品回收管理办法] ("China WEEE") summarized in the April 25, 2005 Chart. As EIA members are likely aware, China WEEE was and continues to be significantly influenced by European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE Directive).
