Matrix of Member State Transposition of EuP DirectiveSeptember 24, 2007 European Union - Design for EnvironmentDirective 2005/32/EC on the eco-design of Energy-using Products (EuP Directive), such as electrical and electronic equipment, provides an EU-wide framework for rules for eco-design of energy-using products. It does not set forth directly binding requirements for specific products, but defines conditions and criteria for setting, through subsequent implementing measures, requirements regarding environmentally relevant product characteristics.
