As reported in the EIATRACK Brazil summary, the Brazilian Congress is in the process of developing an omnibus federal solid and hazardous waste bill that, if passed, could have significant impacts on manufacturers, importers and distributors of electronic and electronic products. A revised final version of the omnibus legislation was recently released. This Special Report highlights key aspects of the new bill.
