Question:I have a question about the new California ATCM to Reduce Formaldehyde Emissions from Composite Wood Products. My company purchases pallets for shipping products, and also purchases plywood, from which we fabricate custom shipping crates to ship larger equipment. Do I understand that under this regulation, for the use of pallets we would be considered a "distributor" and for the making of shipping crates we would be considered to be a "fabricator"? We would then have to meet the applicable requirements and deadline dates for each of these categories? Answer:
