The Swiss Department for Environment, Traffic, Energy and Communication (“UVEK”) announced that it submitted a proposed amendment to the Chemical Risk Reduction ordinance (“Chemicalien-Risikoreduktions-Verordnung” or “ChemRVV”). The proposed amendment is intended to avoid new barriers to trade with the EU and reflects the following recent EU law instruments:
