European Union - Product Take-Back

The WEEE Directive has influence beyond the EU Member States which are required to transpose and implement this directive. For one thing, the WEEE Directive has also been adopted for the European Economic Area (EEA) and thus should be implemented in Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein (but not in Switzerland, which is a member of EFTA but not of the EEA).
