South Korea - Product Take-Back, Restricted Substances Overview

Korean laws equivalent to WEEE/RoHS of the EU were enacted by the Korean National Assembly in the name of the Act for Resource Recycling of Electrical/Electronic Products and Automobiles as Law No. 8405. The Act was promulgated on April 27, 2007, and will enter into force as of January 1, 2008.
