Missouri Passes Product Take-Back Law

USA - Missouri - Product Take-Back

On June 16, 2008, Missouri Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder (as acting governor) signed S.B. 720, the Manufacturer Responsibility and Consumer Convenience Equipment Collection and Recovery Act (the "Act") into law. The new law creates a statewide electronics take-back regime that requires manufacturers to implement recovery plans for the collection and recycling of consumer computer materials.
