Vermont Enacts Legislation Restricting Lead in Children's ProductsJune 30, 2008 USA - Vermont - Restricted Substances OverviewOn June 7, 2008, Vermont Governor Jim Douglas signed into law Senate Bill 152, "An Act Relating to Prevention of Lead Poisoning by Exposure to Lead in Consumer Products" (the "Act"), which prohibits the sale of any children's product containing lead in excess of the limits established by the Act.
