China at Final Stage of Preparing Electronics Industry Facility Discharge Standards

August 18, 2008

China

This Alert covers China's Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) finalization of electronics industry facility pollution control standards (wastewater and air pollution). Essentially, the Alert describes the standards that MEP is finalizing, how these relate to China's more general "integrated" wastewater and air pollutant control standards, provides links to the original draft Chinese versions, and identifies extended opportunity for comment that we are able to obtain for EIATRACK members, if needed.
