The Special Working Group of the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies has issued its long-awaited final draft of a streamlined omnibus solid waste bill, derived from two major initiatives and hundreds of others. The new National Solid Waste Policy Bill (the "Omnibus Bill") remains progressive, calling for shared responsibility over a product’s life cycle and take-back for certain EOL products.
