Matrix of Pending Recycling & Product Take Back Legislation in the USA

USA - Federal - Product Take-Back
Several states remain in session and have active electronics recycling legislation. These states include Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The New York legislature may decide to come back into session this year to fix some budget issues, and could possibly act on the pending electronics recycling legislation at that time. Wisconsin SB 107 passed the Wisconsin Assembly on September 28, 2009. We expect that the Senate will concur with the changes made in the Assembly and that the Governor will sign the bill. If signed, the Wisconsin law will be effective January 1, 2010 and programs must be up and running by July 1, 2010.
