Commission issues guidelines on eco-design standards for standby and off-mode

European Union - Energy Efficiency

The European Commission has issued guidelines to facilitate the implementation of Regulation 1275/2008 on ecodesign requirements for standby and off-mode electric power consumption of electrical and electronic household and office equipment (the “Guidelines”). The Guidelines, which have been drawn up by the Commission in cooperation with Member State and stakeholder experts, are intended to provide answers to questions frequently asked by stakeholders.
