China - Restricted Substances Overview

This EIATRACK Alert updates members on the status of certain standards issued under China's "Management Methods for Controlling Pollution by Electronic Information Products" [电子信息产品污染控制管理办法] ("Management Methods" or "China RoHS"). In particular, this Alert provides details concerning the status of China's "environmental protection use period" ("EPUP"), also translated as "environmentally friendly use period" ("EFUP") marking guidelines and a series of five lead-free technical standards.
