Introduction

Minnesota is one of the leading states in the movement to consider adopting laws or regulations that specifically address the management of used or discarded electronic equipment. The state Pollution Control Agency (“MPCA”) and Office of Environmental Assistance both have programs addressing the management of end-of-life electronics.

Flame Retardant Report:
The MPCA is currently studying PBDE contamination throughout the state.
