Introduction

Florida has joined the states that restrict the use of certain toxic substances in electronic products.

Toxics in Packaging Legislation:

Florida has adopted legislation modeled after the Model Toxics in Packaging Legislation which regulates packaging containing cadmium, chromium, lead, and mercury

Defined Restrictions:
Regulated metals must be below 100ppm for each package or packaging component.
