Introduction
In Poland currently one product-related restriction applicable to the product scope of the database applies:
- Restriction of lead in packaging materials (transposition of Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste).
- A second restriction is for lead in electronics
- Poland restricts the usage of lead in textiles via The Ordinance of the Council for Ministers on safety and labelling of textile products of 19 October 2001.
Defined Restrictions:
Packaging: 100 ppm for sum of heavy metals (lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, and cadmium)
Electronics: 0.1%
Textiles: Prohibition
