Introduction

In Poland currently one product-related restriction applicable to the product scope of the database applies:

  1. Restriction of lead in packaging materials (transposition of Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste).

  2. A second restriction is for lead in electronics

  3. Poland restricts the usage of lead in textiles via The Ordinance of the Council for Ministers on safety and labelling of textile products of 19 October 2001.

Defined Restrictions:

Packaging: 100 ppm for sum of heavy metals (lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, and cadmium)
Electronics: 0.1%

Textiles: Prohibition
