Introduction
In Poland EU requirements on nickel are transposed into national law via "ROZPORZÑDZENIE MINISTRA GOSPODARKI I PRACY z dnia 5 lipca 2004 r. w sprawie ograniczen, zakazów lub warunków produkcji, obrotu lub stosowania substancji niebezpiecznych i preparatów niebezpiecznych oraz zawierajacych je produktów (Ordinance of 5 July 2004 on restrictions, prohibitions or conditions of production, marketing and use of dangerous substances and preparations, and products that contain them – Implementation of Dir.76/765/EEC)" and "ROZPORZĄDZENIE MINISTRA GOSPODARKI I PRACY z dnia 21 lutego 2005 r. zmieniające w/w rozporządzenie (Ordinance of 21.02.2005 amending Ordinance of 5 July 2004)".
Defined Restrictions:
0.2 microgram/cm2/week (migration limit) for items pierced into the human body
0,5 microgram/cm2/week in articles coming into direct and prolonged contact with skin.
